Hardware Check

Is your computer running slowly, crashing, or overheating – and you don't know why?

We check your device component by component and tell you honestly whether a repair is worth it or if a new device is the better choice.

This is included

• Testing of hard drive or SSD including SMART values
• Memory test (RAM)
• Checking temperatures, fans, and cooling
• Battery health for notebooks
• Testing of ports, screen, and keyboard
• Checking the operating system for errors and missing updates
• Written report with our recommendation and a cost overview

How it works

1. You order the hardware check in our shop.
2. We will contact you to arrange the handover of your device.
3. We check your device and get back to you with the findings.
4. You decide at your leisure how you would like to proceed.

Do you live nearby? You can bring your device directly to us at Stationsstrasse 33 in Brüttisellen and pick it up again.

Please note beforehand

The hardware check is a diagnostic – repairs and spare parts are not included. After the assessment, we will tell you what a repair would cost. Please back up your data before handing over the device; we cannot accept liability for data loss.
